Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Lancaster

The Fairfield inn was as described by others on Google which is why we choose this location to stay. The hotel is simple but nice not luxurious, rooms were as described and neat and clean and the staff were very helpful and nice... The breakfast was very generous for a motel and they have coffee/tea/hot water 24hrs a day for free in the lobby. They have a mini mart as well with some basics if you would need, but it's situated near lots of stores... Would stay here again and recommend you to we'll.

They double charge for their infamous incidentals. I booked my room and they require a card on file at that time. When I checked in they require a card for incidentals. I swiped a card. Unknown to me at the time they charged incidentals to the card I used when I booked. Then I was asked to swipe a card upon check in. The card I swiped when I checked in was a different card than the one I used for booking. They then charged the swiped card for incidentals as well. When. I spoke with the staff I was told that I should have used the card I booked the room with and there wouldn't have been an additional charge. Are you confised????? So am I. When all is said, they charged me twice for the same thing, used my money for interest for 7-10 business days whe. They decide to clear the charge from my account.

Great hotel. The staff is warm and inviting very friendly. The rooms are in decent shape. No hair dryers though which is sad lol 🤣 not a deal breaker though. Turn down is every few days but you can request additional stuff if needed. Works for me! Good small workout area on the first floor, not much in there (3 machines) but it's better than nothing..quaint and quiet... I'm sad though that the pool isn't open :( you'd think once it's consistently over 70 it would but alas.... So far I am enjoying my stay. The rooms are clean, at least the one I am in. A few things that probably could use some updating. Big space, king bed is cool but it's flimsy and squeaky. Not the best or worst Ive experienced.

This was not my first choice when looking at hotels for our 2 night trip. However, I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel and it may have won my business over for future trips. The only reason I wouldn't give this hotel 5 stars is water temperature in the shower. It was very sensitive and went from boiling to freezing very quickly. It took a while to figure out a comfortable temperate. Besides that the rooms are very nice. There's plenty of room and they are very clean. You can tell this hotel is newer or has been updated recently. There isn't a microwave in the room, but we didn't have an issue with that either. One of my favorite parts of the room was the privacy shade. It's a decorative shade that still allows light in from the window which I love. I also love there's no gap in the shade since it's not a curtain, like in a lot of hotels. The breakfast was also really nice. We thoroughly enjoyed the waffle maker. It really made this breakfast bar stand out from other hotels we've stayed at. Honestly, it's what may bring us back the next time we stay in Lancaster.

So my carpet was wet the whole time. They had just cleaned the carpets. They put a fan in my room to try and dry it up. I wasn't there long enough to move (they did ask). We didn't have wi-fi so no chance of working. The bathroom was a bit weird for me. The door swings into the bathroom so you have to manuever your way between the door and the toilet to get to the shower. The tub had a curved bottom so it made it hard to stand on when showering. The staff were friendly and really helpful.
